Awareness Session with LADE "Let Us Vote, Lebanon"
30 January 2026The Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University organized an awareness session for university students who are first-time voters, in collaboration with the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE). This session was conducted within the framework of the project “Let Us Vote, Lebanon”, funded by the British Embassy in Beirut.
The session aimed to empower young students eligible to vote for the first time by enhancing their understanding of the voting process and electoral procedures ahead of the 2026 Parliamentary Elections, in accordance with Electoral Law No. 44/2017. Participants were introduced to key elements of the electoral process, including voter eligibility, voting mechanisms, and the responsibilities associated with democratic participation.
