26 April 2012 “The Modern Life Style Day” was held at Beirut Arab University on the 21st of March 2012, comprised fashion, natural cosmetology, healthy diet, hairstyling and skincare. Experts and specialists participating in this event offered consultation and recommendations as related to hair styling and skincare, and encouraged students to be always dressed in comfortable clothes and to follow healthy diets. They also advised students on how to take care of their beauty, elegance and fitness by following natural methods away from plastic surgeries and unhealthy diets.

This event was organised by the Students’ Activities Department and was attended by Professor Amr Galal El Adawi, President of BAU, Mr. Issam Houri, BAU Secretary General, Deans of Faculties & Directors, as well as a huge number of interested students.

The event started with the President’s speech and Ms. Abla’s, Head of the Students’ Activities Department, welcoming notes. Then, the attendees toured the various divisions dedicated to the different experts and specialists participating in this event who answered the students’ inquiries.

Both Ms. Hala Ajam and Mr. Fadi Kataya, the beauty experts launched their campaign “Together for Natural Beauty” , advised the students to refrain from plastic surgeries being the start of the never-ending beauty maze and warned against consulting non-specialists in the field.

In his turn, Coach George Assaf stated that the modern life should be characterised by non-smoking and by exercising.

Ex-Miss Lebanon, Rahaf Abdallah, called for the participation in the campaign to modify the people’s prejudice against the Lebanese woman as being artificial and fake.

“Be your own Brand .. Advance your career” Mr. Milad Hadchiti “personal branding coach” was there to guide students and give them the right advices regarding their paths and careers.

Miss Rania Hammoud “Life Coach” was there and gave students tips on how to fight boredom and stress in a 15 min work shop under the title “shou hal 3ishe”.

The event included artistic shows for students who won free hair-dos according to the latest styles, as well as a Zumba Class live on stage.
