The grade point is a numerical method that evaluates the student academically. Each letter grade is allocated a Grade point Average.
Grade point = GPA* number of the course credit hours
example: grade point= 2.33*3=6.99
Calculating of SGPA (Semester GPA)
SGPA=Summation of the grade points of all courses in a semester / Total Number of registered credit hours.
Calculating the CGPA (Cumulative GPA)
CGPA=Summation of grade points of all courses in all semesters / Total Number of registered credit hours.
