IEEE Student and Young Professionals Lebanon Congress SYPLC 25

The IEEE BAU–Tripoli Student Branch at the Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals Lebanon, successfully organized the SYPLC’25 Congress on November 29, 2025 at BAU Tripoli, under the supervision of Dr. Abdallah AL Sabbagh, Dr. Abdul Rahman El Falou., Dr. Bilal Youssef and Dr. Youssof Traboulsi.

As Lebanon’s largest event for engineering students and young professionals, it gathered participants from eight universities for a full day of learning and networking.
 
The congress brought together students from several universities, including AUT, BAU, CityU, IUL, LU, RHU, UoB, and ULS, creating a vibrant multi-institutional environment for learning and collaboration. The program included an opening ceremony, a keynote on zero-waste innovation, a panel on engineering impact, two technical workshops, YP round tables, and a debate on innovation and privacy. The event supported students’ transition to professional life by offering real-world insights and career guidance. SYPLC’25 concluded with highly positive feedback and strengthened collaboration between BAU and IEEE Lebanon.
