Beirut Arab University Healthcare Center (BAUHC) is the right place where a team of competent and empathetic physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers treat you with respect and compassion and deliver high quality ambulatory care for you.
BAUHC, located in Hariri building ground floor in Beirut Arab University (BAU) Beirut campus, was launched on Thursday September 6th, 2018.

BAUHC serves as a patient-centered healthcare center, where you and your child not only receive appropriate care during times of illness but also receive preventive care. BAUHC accommodates five clinics for different medical and surgical specialties. Other specialties to be added as needed.

Services
Dentistry
Dental Care is available through Oral Diagnosis Clinic at BAU Faculty of Dentistry in the main building in Beirut campus.
Immunization
In collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), BAUHC administers free of charge vaccines as per the National Immunization Calendar.
Dietary and Physiotherapy Services
Available through Faculty of Health Sciences located in Hariri building third floor in Beirut campus.
Laboratory and Radiology Services
Centers are under development. For the time being, patients are free to do requested studies at their preference.
Electrocardiography (ECG)
A quick, simple, painless procedure providing information about heart electrical activity to help evaluate conditions.
Ultrasound Imaging
Safe technique to visualize organs. Examples include abdomen, pelvis, breast, thyroid, heart, and fetal ultrasounds.
Diagnostic Physiology Procedures
Specialized electrophysiological and functional studies available through the Diagnostic Physiology Center.
Treatments and Minor Procedures
Includes vitals checks, glucose level, injections, IV hydration, wound dressing, nebulization, PAP smear, IUD insertion, ear wash, minor surgeries, and more.
Pharmacy Assistance
Program under development to support community members who cannot afford medications, delivering a list of drugs free of charge.
Facilities & Clinics
BAUHC serves as the first point of contact for the community with health professionals, providing ambulatory medical services in a safe environment ensuring quality of care, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
BAUHC Clinics
BAUHC accommodates five clinics for different medical and surgical specialties. Physical settings promote privacy, confidentiality, and infection control. Additional rooms handle counseling, immunization, ultrasound, treatments, minor procedures, and pharmacy services.
Specialized Diagnostic Centers
Designed to serve the community and support physicians with accurate diagnosis. They also double as training facilities providing required practical sessions for students of BAU health-related faculties.
Diagnostic Physiology Center
Located on the third floor of the Hariri building, the center offers comprehensive electrophysiological and functional studies:
- Electroencephalogram (EEG): Includes sleep studies (Polysomnography).
- Electromyography (EMG) & Evoked Potentials (EP): Nerve/muscle studies and EMG-guided interventions (e.g., Botulinum Toxin injections).
- Pulmonary Function Testing: Spirometry with Bronchospasm Evaluation, TLC, and DLCO.
- Audiology Tests: Audiometry, Tympanometry, and Oto-Acoustic Emissions for adults and pediatric patients.
- Non-invasive Cardiac Tests: Cardiopulmonary stress testing, 24-hour BP & ECG holter monitoring, and tilt table testing.
Equipment & Technology
BAUHC is equipped with high-end, user-friendly medical hardware to support its mission and vision. Key equipment includes:
Ophthalmology and ENT units, ultrasound machines, EEG and EMG machines, Pulmonary Function Test machine, Audiology machines, and Non-invasive Cardiopulmonary Stress Test units.
Additionally, digital cameras connected to medical instruments along with large smart LED displays optimize teaching for medical, nursing, and health sciences students. BAUHC also implements an advanced Health Information System to improve patient care, data tracking, and management decisions.
