Visit to Deir Ammar Power Plant
21 November 2025The Electrical Power and Machines Engineering students within the IEEE BAU-Tripoli Student Branch club had the opportunity to explore one of Lebanon’s major power generation facilities, the Deir Ammar Power Plant on November 21, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Chadi Nohra.
The visit provided firsthand exposure to electricity production, management, and grid distribution, effectively bridging theoretical knowledge with practical engineering.
Such experiences empower students, deepen their understanding of large-scale energy systems, and fuel their passion for advancing the electrical engineering field.
