Visit to Tripoli Municipality

Upon the request of the Tripoli Municipality to assess its buildings following the fire that occurred on January 28, 2021, a team consisting of Prof. Khaled Baghdady, Dr. Ahmed Ellakany, Dr. Hassan Ghanem, and Dr. Khaled El-Daghar visited the damaged building on February 5, 2021. As a result of the visual inspection, a group of final-year civil engineering students was formed under the supervision of Dr. Mohamad El Dandachy to conduct measurements on the building’s elements to determine the extent of the fire damage and propose the necessary steps for rehabilitation.
