The ASCE Student Chapter at Beirut Arab University-Tripoli Campus held "Leveraging Supervised Machine Learning for Predicting Material Properties in Civil Engineering Seminar" in collaboration with Dr. Abdulkader el Mir on Monday 26th of February 2024. This valuable seminar introduced ASCE members to the transformative potential of machine learning methodologies within the realm of civil engineering, focusing on the application of supervised machine learning models. By harnessing these advanced computational techniques, engineers can predict and optimize various material properties critical to the success of infrastructure projects. Through real-world case studies and demonstrations, members were able explore how supervised machine learning algorithms enable accurate forecasts of key material characteristics, thereby streamlining decision-making processes and enhancing project outcomes. Moreover, a discusion was held about the implications of such predictive capabilities for improving efficiency, durability,
