LIRA Award

H.E Hussein El Hage Hassan; minister of Industry, and Mr. Said Hamade; General Coordinator of the Lebanese Industrial Research Achievements (LIRA) program at the Ministry of Industry have honored the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University; represented by Prof. Adel Elkurdi; Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Hadi Abou Chakra; BAU representative to the LIRA program and Chairman of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management Department, with its LIRA 11 Conference high number of accepted research projects Award.

The award is granted annually by LIRA program to recognize significant contributions of universities in the industrial development that have improved the competitiveness of Lebanon as a destination for the industry. This year’s award recognizes Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University contributions in its roles as an academic partner for industry.
