The Petroleum Engineering students Fatima Hussein Issa and Rawan Ali Al Rida El Hajj from the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University secured third place in the prestigious MENA Regional PetroBowl Competition.

Competing against teams from 29 leading universities across the MENA region, Fatima and Rawan demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge, teamwork, and strategic thinking throughout the competition.

After winning Group 1 in the preliminary round, they advanced through the knockout stage to earn an outstanding third-place finish in the competition, which was co-hosted by the SPE Abu Dhabi Section and the SPE Saudi Arabia Section under the authority of SPE International.
