Three students from the Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University, Tamara Malla (Faculty of Law), Rasha El Houssami (Faculty of Science), and Amal Shoumar (Faculty of Law) participated in a special screening of the Australian short film "Green Bush", hosted by H.E. Tom Wilson, Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, at the Australian Ambassador's Residence in Beirut.

Organized in celebration of NAIDOC Week, the event brought together university students from across Lebanon to celebrate the rich history, culture, and achievements of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through the screening of the film and the discussion that followed, participants explored the role of storytelling in fostering cultural understanding, promoting reconciliation, and strengthening dialogue across diverse communities.
