A teaching mobility to University of Minho in Portugal

Dr. Fatima Saleh, head of Medical Laboratory Technology department at the Faculty of Health Sciences, was granted a teaching mobility scholarship within the JAMIES Project International Credit Mobility Erasmus+ Programme to visit the University of Minho in Portugal.

During her stay from February 26th to March 1st, she had the opportunity to deliver lectures on Pharmacology & Toxicology to Biochemistry and Applied Biology students.

Dr. Saleh chose to use Team-Based Learning (TBL) and Case-based Learning (CBL) as teaching methodologies for her lectures and thus created an interactive and engaging learning environment that promoted active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking among the students.

Dr. Saleh also met Faculty members to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
