BAU Strengthens Global Ties Through Erasmusplus Participation at Koç University s International Week

Dr. Ghada Khawaja, Assistant Dean at the Faculty of Science and a member of the BAU International Relations Committee, recently participated in the International Week and Study Abroad Fair held from May 12 to 16, 2025, at Koç University as part of the ERASMUS+ mobility program. This experience was incredibly enriching, allowing her to engage with international relations officers, academics, and students from various institutions across the globe.

Dr. Khawaja was particularly impressed by the innovative academic programs presented by Koç University and Sabanci University. The seminars and workshops held at both universities were highly engaging, and the study abroad fair served as an excellent platform to highlight the strengths of Beirut Arab University's programs while gaining valuable insights into best practices from other universities. This exposure can help attract more international partnerships and student exchange opportunities, enriching the educational experience for BAU students.

The networking opportunities were invaluable. "I formed connections that I believe will lead to future collaborations in research, curriculum development, and student exchange initiatives," she said. She also established ties with Professor Alkan Kabakçıoğlu, the Associate Dean of the College of Sciences, who promises to foster further collaboration between our institutions. This experience reinforces BAU's commitment to enhancing international relations with Koç University and providing our students with exceptional opportunities to thrive in a global academic environment.
