My Role is to Spread Love, Peace and Culture

Diva Magida Roumi held a press conference at Beirut Arab University – Debbieh Campus to reveal details of her concert due to be held at BAU on Saturday, 4th June 2016 whereby all revenues go towards funding BAU Scholarships. The Press Conference was held on the 9th of May 2016 and was attended by Prof. Amr Galal El Adawi, President of BAU, Dr. Omar Houri, BAU Secretary General, Ms. Zina Ariss, Director of the Public Relations, Deans, Faculty and Staff , a large crowd of the press, in addition to her fans.
After the Lebanese National Anthem and the BAU Anthem were played, BAU film was screened.  Ms. Zina Ariss Houri, Director of Public Relations at BAU, welcomed Ms. Magida El Roumi and all the audience. Ms. Ariss mentioned that BAU decided to conclude its cultural season with a special and a huge concert for Magida El Roumi, whose name epitomizes leadership at the national, cultural and educational levels in both Lebanon and the Arab World. She also pointed out that the revenues of the concert will go towards funding scholarships for the aim of helping students in paying their tuition fees, particularly in the light of the current economic difficulties., informing that all the tickets are available at Virgin Megastore 
In turn, Artist Ms. Magida El Roumi thanked the University, represented by its President and Administration for selecting her for this concert, stating that it is not possible for anyone to refuse such a humanitarian patriotic contribution. She further stressed that her role obliges her to work towards the dissemination of love, peace and culture.
At the end of the Press Conference, Magida El Roumi addressed BAU students in particular and the Lebanese Youth in general calling upon them not to leave Lebanon, but rather to stay in the country and work on rectifying the difficulties it is facing by dealing with others with love and faith, and to bring an end to the existing rivalry, hatred and conflict.
Afterwards, El - Roumi took a tour of the campus, and visited the site where the concert is due to be held.
