An Evening with Jordanian Makadi Nahas at BAU

Jordanian Makadi Nahas presented a repertoire of traditional Arab Songs as well as a number of the most prominent songs by Fairouz and Sayed Darwish in Jamal Abdel Nasser Hall at BAU. The evening was attended by a crowd of artists, media and students who positively interacted with Nahas' performance.

For an hour and a half, Makadi Nahas created an ambiance of traditional music that took the audience into realms of nostalgia, while some of the songs evoked images of the oppression that engulfs a number of countries in the Arab World.
