BAU Homecoming Event
29 September 2016As with every year, the Students’ Activity Administration at Beirut Arab University organized the BAU Homecoming Event in Debbieh Campus. The event aimed at introducing the new students to the University’s facilities, clubs, centers and activities.
The program of the event extended over a whole day, diversifying into entertainment, sports, dance and a number of games.
The event was opened by Prof. Amr Galal El Adawi, President of BAU, who expressed his happiness at seeing the large number of students attending. He further invited them to attend all the activities organized by BAU and to join its clubs, reiterating the University’s keenness on mixing academics with entertainment to improve students’ university life.
In turn, Ms. Nadine Abla, Director of Students’ Activities, welcomed the students and guests, describing the day as an emblem of hope launched at the beginning of a new and successful academic year. She called upon all students to join the clubs and create an interactive atmosphere.
The day closed with a concert by Artist Melhem Zein, who sang a set of his best songs, which appealed to the students. The star thanked the University and the Students’ Activities Department for providing this opportunity to meet with the students.
At the Tripoli Branch, the Drama, Environment and Music Clubs gave live performances which greatly impressed the attendees. The event also included water games .The event concluded with a concert by Rabih Baroud who excited the attendees with a set of his best songs.
