BAU Open House

The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Research at Beirut Arab University organized an “Open House” aiming at introducing university students to the Postgraduate Programs offered at BAU. The event that was held at Beirut Campus on the 24th of February 2016, was marked by the attendance of ten representatives from all the faculties at BAU who gave presentations of the programs and curricula offered at their respective faculties.
In her presentation, Prof. Hania Nakkash, Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research pointed out the importance of the day, since it enhances students’ sense of belonging to their University. She also highlighted the efforts of the Deanship in activating research that aims at serving the Lebanese and Arab Communities.
Prof. Nakkash also restated that BAU has attained International Accreditation by the FIBAA, indicating the responsibilities that arose accordingly. The Deanship aims to improve the level of research produced at the University to remain abreast with the latest scientific developments. 
However, and since Beirut Arab University had launched the postgraduate studies, it has granted 2155 Degrees, most prominently in the medical and scientific fields. The University further distinguishes itself in that it grants a PhD in Pharmacy.
