E TALEB Roundtable and Workshop

Within the framework of the European Union Program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport "ERASMUS +", Beirut Arab University – Beirut Campus - hosted on October 4th 2016, E-TALEB Roundtable and Workshop entitled “Towards the Lebanese Professional Standards Framework in Teaching and Learning (LBSF)”
The workshop was held with the participation of 68 representatives from leading universities and educational institutions from Lebanon and Europe. It was also attended by the Director General of Higher Education in Lebanon Prof. Ahmad Jammal; "ERASMUS +" Office Coordinator in Lebanon Dr. Aref Assoufi; the Provost of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the coordinator of the "E-TALEB" Project Prof. Georges Yahchouchi; and the Dean of Student Affairs and the Coordinator of the "E-TALEB" Project at Beirut Arab University Prof. Sobhi Abou Chahine.
The event included presentations from different European Universities regarding the framework of professional standards in teaching and learning, and concluded with a roundtable attended by all the participants whereby they discussed how to put these standards into practice in Lebanese Universities.
