Illuminations an Exhibition by Nizar Daher at BAU

Within the Artistic Academic Season held by the Public Relations Administration, Beirut Campus hosted a very distinctive artistic exhibition for the Artist Dr. Nizar Daher. The exhibition was entitled “Illuminations”, in which he captured landscapes and the human soul, reflecting the Lebanese nature.
The exhibition was attended by MP Ammar Houri; BAU President, Prof. Amr Galal El Adawi; the deans of faculties, staff members, BAU directors, Ms. Zina Ariss, Director of Public Relations, Mr. Adnan Daher, Secretary General of the Parliament, in addition to a large crowd of art-lovers.

After the National Lebanese Anthem and the BAU Anthem were played, Ms. Rima Chehab highlighted that BAU is a pioneering institution in graduating generations of education youth. The University further develops its students culturally, providing them with an identity and distinction in the future.
Prof. Amr Galal El Adawi praised the artist’s paintings for their diversity in colors and textures, and for developing a deep understanding. He further stressed that the cultural season at the University is nothing but a plan to stimulate the arts and culture.
In turn, Dr. Nizar Daher expressed his appreciation of the University Administration for hosting the exhibition, and his pleasure at organizing this exhibition that has taken much time. The aim is to present art-lovers with colors and forms to be enjoyed.
