Municipality Management Workshop Resumes in Tripoli

The sessions of the workshop on “Municipality Management”, organized by the Center for Continuing and Professional Education at Beirut Arab University and the National Institute of Management, resumed at the BAU Tripoli Branch. The event was also attended by Eng. Ahmed Kamar El Din, Head of the Tripoli Municipality; Abdel Kader Alam El Din, Head of Mina Municipality; Mohamed Saadeya, Head of the Municipalities Union; Dr. Hani Shaarani, Director of the Business Administration Faculty at BAU; Rola Homsi, Coordinator of the Center; Jamal Monjid, General Director of the National Institute of Management; Judge Wassim Abou Saad; Lawyer Anton Karam; Dr. Rajaa El Sherif; as well as a number of heads of municipalities in the North.
The sessions opened with the National Anthem and the BAU anthem, followed by a word delivered by Shaarani. The session entitled “Cooperation between Municipalities and the Civil Society, international organizations, and sponsors” was chaired by Alam El Din. The last session was chaired by the previous head of the Tripoli Municipality, Eng. Rashid Jamali. The trainer, Nissreen Haddad, focused on the communication skills particular to the field of municipalities, the elements of communication and the obstacles that hinder the smooth flow of communication. 
This was followed by the presentation of certificates of merit to Kamar El Din, Alam El Din, Jamali and Monjid. This was followed by the distribution of certificates of participation to the attendees.
The event concluded with a lunch held on campus.
