The National Library Week at Beirut Arab University

The Students’ Activities Department at Tripoli Branch of Beirut Arab University celebrated the National Library Week, aiming at encouraging students to read at a time when social networks are proliferating.

The Students’ Activities Department coordinated with the librarians at the Branch to hold a number of activities which included exchanging books among students, academic staff and non-academic staff, in addition to a Library Quiz. The aim was to encourage everyone to make better use of the library services offered at all BAU campuses.

At the end of the event, prizes were distributed to the winning students, and shields of appreciation for the Academic Year 2013-2014 were presented to 8 “Library Friends”.
