The Participation of the Faculty of Architecture at BAU in the 17th Chadirji Award

The Faculty of Architecture-Design and Built Environment at Beirut Arab University participated in the 17th  Chadirji Award for Architecture Students in Lebanon organised by the Chadirji Association for Architecture and Society in collaboration with the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut. Under the slogan of “The Social Responsibility of the Role of the Architect”, the event was held at UNESCO Palace on 27-28/1/2017.
Seventeen projects from the Faculties of Architecture all over Lebanon participated in this event. BAU  partook with two projects this year: “The Expansion of Ein Saadeh Monastery” designed by Graduate Engineer Elias Zorob who won the second Prize and “A Social Service Center in Ein El Helwe” designed by Graduate Engineer Nour El Baba who came fourth. Both projects were supervised by the Faculty Dean, Professor Ebtihal Yousef Al Bastaweesy.
Awards were granted to winners and participants by Mr. Khaled Chehab, President of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut and Mr. Habib Sadek, ‎President of Chadirji Association For Architecture & Society.
