The Third NGO Fair at Beirut Arab University

The Human Rights Center at BAU organized the third NGO Fair at  Beirut Site on the 16th of May 2013.

The Fair included 29 national and international NGOs participants, concerned with various issues relevant to Human Rights. The event was accompanied by a blood-donation campaign, in addition to a simulation of relief operations performed by the Lebanese Red Cross.

The Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, and the Director of the Human Rights Center, Dr. Omar Houri, gave a speech in which he expressed his hopes that the Fair would be a good opportunity for the students to become familiar with the work and roles of NGOs, while also creating job opportunities, and new venues for cooperation and student participation with these organizations.
