He expressed his thanks to all the participating businesses and companies for contributing to the “systematic crystallization of creating job-opportunities for the Lebanese youth.”

He asked to “give the priority to the Lebanese youth”, since “the young of Lebanon are the future of Lebanon”. He also called upon the students and the youth to “stand up for themselves and rebel against the political elite, and to be ready to build Lebanon.”
In turn, Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi, President of BAU, thanked Minister Qazzi for being the patron of the opening ceremony, as well as all the participating institutions and companies. He also advised the students to acquire communication skills in addition to their university degree, enumerating the University efforts exerted in providing regular lectures, seminars and workshops for the students.
Prof. Dr. Adel El Kordi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, next stated the objectives of the fair, stressing that the main aim is to diminish the gap between the number of students and the various sectors in all fields. Another aim is to establish harmony and cooperation between the students and the companies, stressing the fact that the fair seeks to introduce students to the job-market needs and to throw light on the future trends. Thus it is possible to ensure that the University will remain updated of the accelerating developments on the Lebanese, the Arab and the international job-market, while developing the academic realm and introducing updated teaching methods.
At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi presented an honorary shield to Minister Qazzi, which was followed by a tour of the various booths of the fair. The Minister also toured the premises and the buildings of the Debbieh Campus.
