A Cooperation Between Beirut Arab University and Hamdan e University

Hamdan Bin Mohammad e-University has signed a memorandum of understanding with BAU with the aim of promoting cooperation and launching a series of initiatives related to the dissemination of the culture of e-learning in the Arab World.

The MOU was signed by the Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammad e-University, Mansour Al Awar, and the President of Beirut Arab University, Prof. Amr Galal Al Adawi, during the International Council for Open and Distance Education Standing Conference for Presidents 2012 (ICDE SCOP 2012), hosted by Hamdan e-University at the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement includes academic faculty exchange programs to promote joint research activities, encourage the participation of staff-members at both institutions in each other’s research publications, enhance cooperation in the organization of scientific conferences, specialized seminars, events and joint research projects in various vital areas, such as e-learning, quality management and academic excellence. It also includes actively providing students, staff-members and personnel with direct and fast access to scientific and research resources available at both universities, while closely coordinating to implement the vocational development of personnel in both universities and offering joint training programs for corporations.
