An Academic and Research Cooperation Agreement between Beirut Arab University and the Lebanese University

Beirut Arab University (BAU) and the Lebanese University (LU) signed a five-year Academic and Research Cooperation Agreement in the fields of Engineering, Medical and Health Sciences, Environmental and Agricultural Sciences as well as in the Social Sciences and Arts.

The Agreement, signed by BAU President, Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi and LU President, Dr. Adnan El Sayed Hussein, aims to facilitate the exchange of staff-members for teaching, research and supervision of theses, as well as the facilitation of postgraduate student transfers between the two universities, and the organization of conferences, workshops, seminars and training courses to build on the expertise at both universities.

In the light of the Agreement, the two universities are committed to the exchange of books, publications, studies and the use of libraries. The presidents of the two universities or their representatives will evaluate the executive programs and the negotiations of common issues.
