BAU Concludes its Cultural and Artistic Activities
10 June 2013The Students’ Activities Department at BAU concluded its cultural and artistic season at which the Drama, Music, Folk-dance and Modern Dance Clubs took part.
The Drama Club presented a performance of “His Excellency the Minister’s Wife”, a play that deals with the social and political conditions in a satirical approach. The play was written by Mohamed Saoudi and Wissam Sabagh, and produced by Hassan Al Masry.
The Folk-dance and the Modern Dance Clubs presented a joint concert, at which the students demonstrated their talents in a number of dances through a variety of Lebanese, oriental and western melodies. The concert was held at the Jamal Abdel Nasser Hall, under the supervision and training of Annie Sarkisssian.
The members of the Music Club presented collective and individual performances of old and new songs, with the accompaniment of the musical band and the choir under Mrs. Noha Karaki Al- Ghazal.
The performances were attended by hundreds of students and the President of BAU, Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi, the Vice-President for Medical Affairs, Prof. Dr. Essam Osman, the deans of faculties, staff-members and the directors at BAU.
