BAU – The Faculty of Architecture - Design & Built Environment collaboration with UN-Habitat on Bourj Hammoud Neighborhood Damage Assessment

In response to Beirut tragic explosion, Beirut Arab University- the faculty of ArchitectureDesign & Built Environment continues to offer help and support to the community. 50 volunteers from BAU are supporting #UNHabitatLebanon by conducting damage assessment to Bourj Hammoud Neighborhood. 

The first phase was dedicated to establishing a rapid survey for the damaged buildings.

Throughout two consecutive days the 13th and 14th of August 2020, 25 groups were distributed along the area to gather qualitative and quantitative information about the  damages in the affected buildings.
