Cooperation Agreement Between Beirut Arab University and Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur

 Beirut Arab University, represented by its President Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, signed a one-year cooperation agreement with Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur, represented by the Hospital’s President Sister Anne Soufeh, and its Director General Mr. Elie Salem.  
 
The agreement aims to foster collaboration across multiple levels, particularly in the medical, academic, artistic, technical, and administrative fields. Both institutions will leverage their expertise to achieve shared goals in Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Human Sciences, Engineering, and Architecture – Design & Built Environment. Additionally, the partnership will focus on advancing university education, enhancing scientific research, and improving healthcare services to benefit society at large.  
 
The signing ceremony was attended by Beirut Arab University’s Secretary-General Dr. Omar Houri; Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Wafaa El Sehly; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Professor Adel Al-Kurdi; Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Professor Abdalla El-Lakany; Dean of Academic Affairs and International Relations Professor Sobhi Abu Shaheen; Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs Professor Hania Nakkash; and a delegation from Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur.  
 
Under the agreement, the hospital will host students from the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Nursing, and Clinical Psychology, among others, providing them with field and clinical training under the joint supervision of academic and medical staff. The partnership will also enhance the quality of medical education through knowledge exchange, joint workshops and research initiatives—all while adhering to international accreditation and quality standards.  
 
This collaboration aligns with the shared vision of Beirut Arab University and Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur to develop skilled medical and professional personnel capable of addressing societal needs and the evolving challenges of the healthcare sector.
