Human Rights Center Board Meeting at Beirut Arab University

The board of the Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University held a meeting presided by its Chairman Professor Amr Galal El Adawi and attended by members of the council who are officials from local and regional bodies, deans of some faculties at the university and the director of the center. The Chairman praised the efforts of its members and called to enhance dialogue with students and identify aspirations of youth. He called to make the center a platform for dialogue and discussion to enrich the concept of human rights.

The board reviewed the center’s activities in the past period and the calendar of the present and future activities including the ninth regional summer course on “Youth and Global Citizenship” which attracts young people from various specialties and countries that will better enable them understand the culture of sustainable peace and the preparations for the third environmental campaign launched by the university towards its community in addition to many other activities.
