INAS Foundation for Academic Awards Launches the IAAF Awards at BAU

INAS Academy Awards, in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship at Beirut Arab University-Beirut Campus, launched the IAAF Awards during a ceremony attended by BAU President Professor Amr Galal El-Adawi, President of the INAS Foundation for Academic Awards Ms. Inas Abu Ayash, former Minister Jean Oghassabian, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education Dr. Wassim Itani and the guest of honour Singer Nassif Zaitoun, faculty members and a crowd of interested students.

The ceremony commenced with a documentary about the project and the conditions of the competition. President El-Adawi praised the initiative of Ms. Abu Ayyash and spoke about the importance of entrepreneurship as well as BAU’s initiative to establish an incubator of the students' projects and help them expand and grow.

Ms. Abu Ayyash addressed the students encouraging them to dare and dream. 

Oghassabian urged them to innovate, hoping their projects would be executed.

In his speech, Singer Zaitoun stressed the necessity to achieve the dream and adhere to one’s likes and dreams.

The event concluded with a discussion between the participants and students who spoke about their entrepreneurial ideas and dreams. 

For the third time in a row, BAU students in Beirut, Debbieh and Tripoli Campuses compete for the prize of $10,000, one for Tripoli Campus and another for Beirut and Debbieh Campuses.
