In addition, the radio draws an image of the events transmitted to you by the character of every presenter.
The platform later was given to Mr. Mohammad Krayiem who presented a historical overview about radio stations and how they started work in what he called a count about main stations that left an impact on his long path. He also gave an overview about some aspects of art and media lives at his time.
Then Mr. Assaad Maroun pointed to the problems that the radio faces such as the technological, financial challenges and human competencies linking them to solutions that keep the radio stations alive. Radio stations require a regulatory framework that help them develop, survive and reduce their expenditures enabling them to survive amidst the economic crisis the country is witnessing such as tax exemptions, internet support, telephone calls, setting single transmission towers through which radio stations broadcast. In addition, he called to cancel the so-called 25 million Lebanese pounds annual license fees and give the radio station fees in return to broadcasting official announcements.
Maroun provided some editorial advice about how to write radio programs and how to change the report to a story taking into consideration the elements of attraction, objectivity, professionalism, accuracy, honesty, present balanced points of views, maintain balance between political news and security developments and the issues that are reflected on our daily life such as health, education, living situation in addition to maintain the right of reply for all.
