Refugees today

The Secretary General and the Director of the Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University Dr. Omar Houri participated as a Keynote Speaker in a Seminar entitled “ Refugees today” which was held at Universidad Catolica de Murcia in Spain. During the Seminar Dr. Houri tackled several topics on the international situation of refugees through lecturing about the Introduction to legal framework of refugees’ rights shedding the light on the refugees’ situation in Lebanon and their circumstances. He also dealt and explained about the role of Beirut Arab University played in the involvement with the Syrian refugees and compiling it with the role of education and how the Human Rights based approach interacts with this issue.
