Renewal of International Accreditation from ABET for the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University

As part of Beirut Arab University’s strategy to ensure the quality of education, the Faculty of Engineering has successfully renewed its international accreditation by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the leading accreditor of engineering programs worldwide. This accreditation extends until September 30, 2031 and covers five Bachelor of Engineering programs.

The accredited programs include:

Civil Engineering

Communications and Electronics Engineering

Electrical Power and Machines Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Industrial Engineering

The evaluation process conducted last year confirmed that these programs meet the rigorous standards set by ABET. This renewal reaffirms the University’s strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and adherence to global standards in engineering education.

This achievement also reflects Beirut Arab University’s vision to position itself among the region’s leading institutions with a global outlook, by preparing graduates capable of driving societal progress.
