The Communication and Electronics Program at BAU Receives International Accreditation from ABET
24 December 2013The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) granted the International Accreditation to the Communication and Electronics Program at the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University.
ABET is one of the highest Accreditation Institutions of Engineering and Technology Programs in the world and such an accreditation benefits the graduates starting class 2011 to access jobs in international Associations and Companies which require an ABET Accreditation from the Students’ Graduated Universities.
The accreditation of the program reiterates Beirut Arab University’s keenness on achieving the highest standards of quality and creativity in the Educational Process and is part of its efforts to attain International Accreditations of its various majors as part of the BAU’s strategy as declared by Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi, President of BAU.
ABET had previously granted a similar accreditation to the Computer Science Program at the Faculty of Science in 2013, and RIBA had validated the Faculty of Architectural Engineering in 2013.
