Prof. Toufic El-Arwadi was invited to deliver an oral presentation at the MMSN26 workshop (Modélisation Mathématique & Simulation Numérique) organized by the Saint Joseph University (USJ), which gathered researchers from Lebanon and abroad specializing in partial differential equations. His lecture, entitled "Asymptotic Analysis of a Nonlocal Truncated Timoshenko Ehrenfest Beam Model" addressed recent advances in the mathematical analysis and numerical simulation of Non-local Timoshenko beam models. During the presentation, he discussed the stability properties of a non-local Timoshenko beam subject to viscous damping and highlighted key findings from a recent collaborative research work conducted with colleagues from Lebanon.
